How To Make A Daily Routine

Today, we all are riding in this rat race to secure our tomorrow. But what about today, are you making any efforts to make your today any better?

 

Monetarily you might find the perfect happiness but your mind and body also need its own time and space. You need to start making changes in your life because it is the only constant thing in our lives. It helps us grow and become the best version of yourself.

 

So, to make your every day a class apart, we have got a few things that can help you achieve results in the longer run.

 

1. Hydrate Yourself:

 

 

As much as 60 percent of the body is made up of water, so it is inevitable that drinking water is important to protecting your health.

 

Drinking water is quite essential for our body. It helps in removing the toxins and giving your skin the added glow. To get into the habit, you should start your day with warm water. This helps in increasing your metabolism. It prepares your body for the upcoming day. It is recommended to drink 3 litres of water a day. If this seems like a task to you then you should keep a bottle on your work desk and keep sipping from it, time to time. Once you do this, trust us, half of your health and skin problems would vanish.

 

2. Meditate For The Soul:

 

 

A peaceful mind is a key to a successful tomorrow. The thing with our human brain is that it constantly keeps thinking. There isn't a pause button or any breaks that can be pressed to make it stop. The best way to keep your mind at peace is by meditating. You might say that my jam-packed schedule doesn’t allow me to indulge in meditation. Well, you don’t need endless hours for it. Instead of scrolling on your phone in the morning, just sit upright and close your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes. Concentrate on your breathing and let go of all your thoughts for that point of time. Become one with your mind. 

 

3. Create a To-do List:

 

 

If you are looking to make a difference in your daily routine then consider listing down your work. Start making a to-do list ranging from the most boring work to the easier one. This helps you to stay productive and whenever you cross off the list it gives you a sense of accomplishment. So, create a to-do, be it daily or weekly, and try to complete it in the given time.

 

4. Eat Clean:

 

 

With this busy lifestyle, we have completely forgotten to balance out our food eating habits. If you want to start living a healthy life, you need to say goodbye to samosas, vada pav and all the junk food. Switch to healthy snacks like fruits and dry fruits. Also, get into the habit of eating home-cooked food. This will not only keep you healthy but at the same time will save you some more money. This effort is clearly a win-win situation, for your health and your pocket.

 

5. Write in a Journal:

 

 

One of the best ways to unwind your day is by journaling. Today looking after your mental health is as important as your physical health. Journalling allows you to pour your heart out on a piece of paper, which only remains to you. Journaling stops you from overthinking, it becomes a medium for you to share your deep and dark thoughts. If you are considering writing in a journal, do it every day! Be it a happy or sad thought, one line or four to five pages, you must do it for the benefit of your mental health.

 

6. Be Active:

 

 

Being active is quite essential for everyone. With today’s lifestyle, where we do most of our work through phones and laptops, our physical health has gone for a toss. But you can start and lead an active life. The first step towards being active is by walking. Cardio is the best way to get your body going. You don’t need to go all out and start a fitness regime. If you have that much time, go for it. But always remember to start small and slow. As the day passes by you can keep increasing the time span and work on your stamina. But start NOW, it’s never too late when it comes to leading an active lifestyle.

 

With these small efforts in your daily routine, you can achieve something so wonderful that you never dreamt of. Keep hustling hard and don't forget to take a day out for yourself in your busy life,  A peaceful mind and a happy life is awaiting your arrival!
