Ageing is inevitable. However, there are still some things you can do.

Ageing tips are not limited to someone who is above 50. A lot of early ageing signs are seen during your 30’s. It's something we cannot run away from but surely control. Throw out those fake anti- ageing creams and try out this 8 step method to control the ageing process and its effects.

These tips will help you reduce premature ageing and keep your skin healthy, young and glowing!

1. Make Sunscreen Your Best Friend:

Whether you’re at the beach, running errands or simply sitting at home, sun protection is essential. You can protect your skin by using sunscreen that is SPF 30 (or higher) to protect you from UVA and UVB rays. Use the one that is water-resistant if you tend to sweat easily. You should apply sunscreen every day, especially to the areas that are being exposed to the sun. This will protect you from dark spots, uneven pigmentation and even skin cancer. Apply the sunscreen to your neck as well.

2. Stop Smoking:

Not just for health reasons but smoking greatly speeds up how quickly skin ages. It causes wrinkles and a dull, sallow complexion. It also tends to darken your lips, hair to whiten faster and make them look chapped and dull. Wear a good lip balm to heal them.

3. Cleanse Gently:

Wash your skin with a gentle cleanser. While scrubbing your face, be more careful as being harsh can irritate your skin. Irritated skin accelerates skin ageing. Gentle washing helps to remove pollution, makeup, and other substances without irritating your skin. Also, make sure to always moisturize your face later. For smooth, supple and youthful hands apply good hand cream or even coconut oil helps.

4. Hydrate:

Drinking water is so important to the health of the brain that severe, prolonged dehydration can even age the brain. Drinking water is part and parcel of a commitment to protect the body from the signs of ageing by making the right lifestyle choices.

Not drinking enough can result in an increased appearance of wrinkles and lines and creates more dry areas and dullness. Drinking enough water is key to keeping a healthy glow and a dewy appearance.

5. Sleep Well:

While we are sleeping, our bodies are repairing, detoxifying and our hormones are being balanced. Our body ensures that all the nutrients are absorbed to keep your skin healthy and happy. Adequate sleep improves circulation around the eyes decreasing puffiness and dryness.

6. Eating Healthy:

To improve what’s outside we have to first improve what’s inside. Your diet plays a huge role when it comes to ageing. Increase your vitamin C intake, this will ensure collagen building. Eat more foods with antioxidants and omega 3 as this will make your skin healthier, more resilient, and make you look younger in no time. Incorporating Vitamin A is very important as it helps with fine lines, uneven skin tone, dark spots, and textured skin.

7. Don’t Be Picky:

If you want to avoid scarring that can make you look older, stop picking at your skin. Instead of picking those pesky breakouts, let them come out on their own or use products to help eliminate them. Any time you pick or pull at your skin you're causing damage and creating irritation, scars and even wrinkles!

8. Maintain Your Gut Health:

Your skin issues are deeper-seated than you think. Getting your gut health in order is the first step towards younger skin. Most people do not link their skin health directly to their digestion. However, if we clean up the diet, improve digestion and get the bowels moving, and restore healthy gut bacteria, skin often improves naturally.

Also, one of the most underrated tips to end with? Being youthful comes even more easy when you are cheerful! ;)
